My name is Caroline Green and I am currently a Junior at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. I am pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Spanish Literature. Fortunately, I have been able to study abroad in Santiago, Chile for my Fall semester and have been living abroad for 5 months. This blog is just a little glimpse into what I have experienced as a Gringa/Negrita in South America, mainly in Santiago. I have been fortunate enough to travel in Chile as well to Cuzco, Peru, Mendoza and Buenos Aires in Argentina, and Colonia, Uruguay.

So, this is my story. I apologize for the random Spanglish (its a habit now) and for any inside jokes that might make no sense whatsoever. Also, I warn you: my opinion of certain places are based on my experiences - good or bad or just plain interesting - that I have had in each location. And of course, every experience is different; therefore, don't judge a place based on my experience with it. But, please, do feel free to comment. I love receiving feedback.
